From Memory or Imagination, be guided with prompts to bring experiences to the page. The AWA method is grounded with supportive commentary that allows a safe container to be held for writers to explore their craft.
We focus on what worked, stayed with us and was strong. All work is treated as fiction so as to uphold the writer and any risks they may have taken by putting words to paper. No experience is necessary.
-
This chair-based class will blend both traditional chair yoga with chair yoga dance (CYD)
Create stillness, breath awareness and increased flexibility with chair-based hatha yoga. Infusing music (all genres) with Chair Yoga Dance helps to Improve strength, cardi, and memory in an uplifiting way. The chair is used as both a support and a prop. (Seated & Optional Standing).
Chair classes are not for the old & decrepit! It's for anyone dealing with a joint issue, balance concerns or recovery that makes it challenging to get up and down to the floor.
